"Everything Is Art" Magazine - For Artists of All Kinds

June 25, 2012
I had the wonderful opportunity to come across a new magazine launched in 2011 called "Everything is Art."

Although I wouldn't consider myself a traditional artist (although some writers might dispute that), I love anything creative and I especially love showcasing something like this that is new and out to help out artists. One of the first things that captivated me in this magazine is their portrayal of all types of art. In their latest issue, they interview Nathan Sawaya, an artist who makes life form shapes out of legos. In the magazine, he describes his life before devoting it to art, as working as an attorney in New York City.

Their magazine not only describes the experience of the artists, but shows amazing work from all types of venues. These stories are inspiring and whether your tool is a paintbrush, pen, or lego piece, you can learn from your artist-kind.

I also wanted to mention the contest they have going on!

In case you are the artistic type, you will definitely want to check this out. The deadline for their contest is July 15, 2012 and they are calling for submissions of all medium types.  Each entry will receive one image published in their magazine as well as all entries will be live on their site!

The prizes include:

Apple iPad 3
Canon Professional Camera
Sony Vegas Pro 11
A spread in Everything is Art magazine
Solo Gallery Show
Top Rated Artist wins bonus prize.

  1. I like your blog. I'll be following. Check mine out at http://jokedude.blogspot.com/

  2. I consider my own writing art. I try to be creative in the way I approach words and sentence structure and content. It all works together to form a picture in the reader's mind. That's art, I think. :)

    1. I've always thought that!! The fact that we are creating a scene with words in order for someone else to see what we see - that is art for sure!

I love comments! Unfortunately, though, due to an increase in spam comments, I am going to be moderating comments for a while. But be rest assured, I'll be approving yours shortly. Thanks for stopping by!
