I've had my blog about a year and a half now, and love using this blog to write about my favorite subjects like being a writer, an aspiring author, and a blogger. Although I haven't been able to officially say that I am a published author (although my self published short story may say otherwise), I am hoping those magic words are just around the corner (did you know if you say that three times while clicking your heels you get sent to The Land of Oz?).
Over the year and a half I've had this blog, I've allowed it to merge into something new and great for me. I still talk about writing, but I love talking about a few of my favorite things right alongside it (that Sound of Music song is in your head now, isn't it?). Like chocolate, wine, coffee, books, and all things unique, new or creative.
And on top of everything else, I have managed to integrate my thoughts about social media, the publishing industry, movies, television, my distractions, and my inspirations all under that huge umbrella of writing. Not to mention my weekly prompt to inspire all of those writers out there.
Amazing, isn't it?
So, I hope you stick around and follow along to my journey. You don't want to miss out!
Signed,
Your Writer, Nicole
P.S. Make sure to check out some of the blog award's I've received over here! And I've collected some writer's resources that you may want to read as well. Not to mention I divulge my secrets to making money writing, blogging, and social networking, so make sure to head over to this link to find out how.
Not to mention my two year blogversary is just around the corner -
Welcome to the world of my imagination!

Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI discovered your blog via the Writers Digest Community--my intent was to make a brief visit to everyone's blog (on the Blogger's Love group) today to show some love, but I got "stuck" reading your wonderful posts--very inspiring--I truly enjoyed it.
Good luck with your future publication(s)!
Hi Tracy - Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I'm so glad that you have enjoyed it! I am always so touched at anyone that comes by and sticks around for a while! :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Nicole. Take a look at your "About me" in your right sidebar. I think you meant "fellow" bloggers. If we were out to lunch and you had something in your teeth, I would tell you that, too. Toilet paper on your shoe. I'm your gal. Because that's what friends do. :) So glad to meet you through WD! Thanks for visiting me blog. I'll be back.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! That's definitely a good friend, by the way! :) I'm cool about the toilet paper-heel thing too! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Nicole, I enjoyed reading your blogs. I just published a book and am working on another, so though I would like to follow many blogs, time is not on my side. Please visit me at www.gailonwritingabook.blogspot.com. By the way, did you get published yet? Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole, It's nice to meet a fellow writer/book blogger from Portland. I love how you structure your book recommendations. I personally enjoy an occasional ghost story and am a cat person.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck on the road to publishing!
Hey Nicole!
ReplyDeleteYou will need to keep us posted on your imminent publishing.
